The Socceroos are in full swing preparing for the match vs Germany that will open their 2010 Soccer World Cup.
It has been widely reported that the Socceroos have begun using Jan Rab to analyse and assist Pim Verbeek in developing strategy for the game vs Germany. Known as a “super scout” Rab has often been hired in this capacity by many of the game’s top managers over the years.
Rab will be watching Germany’s warm up games before heading to South Africa for 2 days of planning before the 1st big game.
Rab, who has worked in this capacity of ’spy’ and strategist since the mid 70s has watched Germany’s last 4 matches against Argentina, Malta, Hungary and Bosnia.
