Key Socceroos front man Josh Kennedy has declared himself fit for the 2010 Soccer World Cup.

Kennedy has missed the past 2 games for his J League team however has stated in the media that his playing absence recently has been precautionary and he doesn’t carry a major injury.

Former Socceroos goalkeeper Kalac has recently said that Kennedy may find the physical pressure from Ghana and Germany not to his liking. Kennedy’s gola scoring consistency at club and international level is strong and he remains and important starter or possible late game sub option for the Socceroos when fit. His height can be a telling factor late in the game when players on the pitch tire.

Kennedy joins other Socceroos who have recently declared their fitness to be fine and the squad is shaping into a strong one to face the opening game of the competition in just over a month.
