2010 World Cup Odds – Socceroos $7.50 in the betting to win our Group

Even the most patriotic fans are not convinced the Socceroos can win our Group of the 2010 World Cup Soccer Tournament. The Socceroos are currently $7.50 to win the group, this is not surprising when you consider we meet the might of countries like Germany, Serbia and Ghana. Australia has the healthy challenge of playing Germany in the first Group D match on the 13th June.

To put things in perspective Germany odds to win the World Cup are 13-1, Serbia 51-1, Ghana 67-1, whilst Australia is 81-1. I think these markets show the Socceroos will need to perform above market expectations to progress past the group stage.
